What if you could turn your LEGO Technic Ford Bronco into a rugged off-road muscle car packed with features the original set doesn't even have?
Hello everyone, CrazyKreations here! (Yeah... it's been a while š )
We're excited to finally share our newest alternative build: an Off-Road Muscle CarĀ inspired by Dom's iconic off-road Dodge Charger from Fast & Furious 7.
The best part? It uses only the parts from the LEGO Technic 42213 Ford Bronco, so if you already own the set, you have everything you need to build it!
This is our first alternative model for the Ford Bronco, and we've pushed the parts in ways we never thought possible to create a model that's not only fun to look at, but even more fun to play with. As always, we've included detailed building instructions so you can recreate it yourself.
If you've seen our previous builds, you might remember our Off-Road Muscle Car based on the Ford Raptor. So what makes this one different?
We completely reworked the mechanics to create a model that's more capable, more playable, and more technically advancedĀ than the original Bronco.

Features
Opening doors
Detailed interior with roll cage
Independent front suspension
Redesigned trailing-arm rear suspension with increased travel
Working front-mounted V6 engine driven by the rear wheels through a custom CV joint
HOG steering with a removable rear knob
Functional steering wheel
Strong, rigid bodywork
SNOT techniques for a cleaner finish
Rear taillights
Rear-mounted spare tyre
Side-exit exhaust
One limitation of the original Ford Bronco is its restricted rear suspension travel. To solve this, we replaced the pendulum suspension with a trailing-arm design, giving the model much greater articulation. Since the Bronco doesn't include the necessary drivetrain parts for this setup, we also designed a custom CV jointĀ that keeps the V6 engine connected to the rear wheels throughout the suspension's movement.
We also incorporated a working steering wheel, linked to the HOG steering through a compact lever mechanismāsomething rarely seen in models of this scale.
